Downloading Made Easy!

"Tips for Downloading and Printing"

When people are new to downloading, they often fear that they will "screw something up." Not to worry!

We recommend that you print out this page, and follow the directions carefully. If something doesn't work, just re-read the directions slowly and try again.

After our secure shopping cart successfully processes your credit card payment, you'll be taken directly to your download page.

If you don't manage to download your eBook and/or audio files successfully right away, don't panic. We also have a page for Advanced Troubleshooting and Error Messages. But start here first!

Here's what to do....

1. Find your "Order Info" email

You'll receive an automatic email from us (usually within 30 minutes of your order, depending on Internet traffic at the time). The email will have the subject line: "Order Info | Sheila Martin "

If you don't receive your Order Info email within an hour, please email our Support Desk.

2. Use your Download Link

Inside that email, your own personal download link will be inside the text that looks similar to this (depending on which product you purchased):

Look for the line that begins with "Download Link" (highlighted in yellow in the example above).

Your link will have its own unique Transaction ID, which gives you access to the download link for the next 48 hours only. (This is to prevent unauthorized sharing of the files.)

Some users (especially on AOL and Hotmail) may not see a clickable link (a link that is blue and underlined). If your link is not clickable ... just copy everything from "http://" to the end of that line and paste it into the "Address" bar of your Internet browser.

Whether you (a) clicked the link in your Order Info email or (b) pasted the download link into your browser, you will now be back at your own download page. As long as you return within 48 hours of your purchase, you'll see a page something like this (again, depending on which product you ordered).

3. Save the PDF file(s) onto your computer

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. PDF format makes it possible for anyone to read the file, even if they don't have the same software or fonts that were used to create it.

Do not just click on the links to download these files! Most of them will open up in your browser if you do. Then when you close the browser, the file will disappear. Instead, you want to save each file onto your own computer. To do that, use the following steps:

  1. Put your mouse pointer overtop of the link for the file you want to download. Then click the RIGHT mouse button. You'll see a menu pop up with the options "Save as," "Save Link As" or "Save Target As."

  2. A window will come up that looks similar to the one below....

If you're an experienced downloader, choose where you want the file to be saved, and click on SAVE. Make sure you note where you've saved the file.

Otherwise, save the file onto your Desktop, so you'll see it when you start up your computer.

Important: Wait for the entire file to download before you start moving through it.

Now you can either read your eBook on the screen or print it out, whichever you like best.

Some of our products contain just one download link. Others have two or more. Be sure to download ALL your files ... within the 48 hours the links are active.

The eBooks are very large files. If you're on a high-speed connection, they will probably take only a minute or two to download. But on dial-up, they'll take a lot longer, so please be patient.
